Back to the roots

Baroque writing inks for fountain pens, glass nibs and rollerball pens

The Baroque ink collection is a new edition of the traditional Baroque ink brand, which provided all writers in the former GDR with high-quality fountain pen inks for many decades. The baroque inks were produced in Dresden, the capital of Saxony, until 2011. The company went bankrupt, which initially meant the end of the brand, but not the end of ink production at this Saxon location.

This legacy can now be proudly continued under the brand name “Baroque”. The new Baroque ink collections expand the classic range of writing inks with expressive, well-pigmented inks for fountain pens, glass nibs and rollerball pens. Baroque inks represent the highest quality in fountain pen inks and combine the tradition of bygone times with modern writing features. With their excellent flow properties, instant writing readiness and impressive shading, they offer a first-class writing experience.

Each Baroque ink collection is dedicated to a decade of our century and consists of six perfectly coordinated colors that capture the spirit of each era.

The Baroque Ink Collection 1910 is a homage to the Art Nouveau period and cleverly captures the everyday life of people of this era in color. A deep charcoal gray evokes the smoke-blackened factories and hard work of the time. The colors umber, jade and caviar, on the other hand, speak of the efforts of the artists of this era to imitate nature in their works.

Immerse your documents in the splendor of this impressive time and let your words shine in the strong colors!

The colors of the Baroque 1910 ink collection:

Anthracite – The elegant, deep gray takes on the role of classic black in this collection
Caviar – The smoky violet creates an extravagant typeface
Marine - The classic among ink colors - A serious blue, cleverly rounded off by a subtle sheen.
Jade – Named after the blue-green gemstone, this turquoise precious ink shines with its light sheen.
Bordeaux - Our fountain pen ink in glamorous wine red brings a velvety touch of luxury to the paper.
Umbra - The warm brown writing ink with a natural, woody character
